Park View High School, part of Loudoun County Public Schools, has been named a 2025 National ESEA Distinguished School by the National Association of ESEA State Program Administrators. This prestigious award recognizes one of only 63 schools nationwide for outstanding progress in student achievement using ESEA resources, specifically in Category 2 for closing achievement gaps. Over the past two years, the school achieved remarkable gains in mathematics pass rates: 46 points for unhoused students, 45 points for English learners, 44 points for Black students, 36 points for economically disadvantaged students, and 32 points for Hispanic students. Similar advances were made in reading and science. These successes are attributed to data-driven instruction, programs like Math Lab and Bootcamp, extended learning, peer tutoring, and professional development such as QTEL training. Emphasis on relationships boosted family satisfaction from 85.5% to 96.4%. Principal Dr. Jason Jefferson and Superintendent Dr. Aaron Spence praised the staff’s dedication and students’ resilience. The school will be honored at the National ESEA Conference in Denver, February 10-12, 2026.
